North Iraq (AINA) -- Salem Dawood Coca, an Assyrian from Betnaya, in the Nineveh Plain in north Iraq, was kidnapped on May 27 in the Tarmiyah area. His body was found yesterday inside the truck which he was driving when he was kidnapped. The truck was booby trapped with explosives, and it is believed that he was forced to carry out a suicide bombing, but refused to do so. The kidnappers had contacted Mr. Coca's family but had not demanded a ransom and described him as a "Christian infidel."

Mr. Coca was born in 1950 and was married and had many sons and daughters.
