This is the dictionary of Akkadian (Assyrian), compiled over a 90 year period by scholars at the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago.
The ancient Assyrian language is classified as Akkadian; it was the language of the Assyrians and Babylonians, written in Cuneiform. To facilitate administrative tasks of the Assyrian Empire Aramaic was made the second official language in 752 B.C. (see Akkadian Words in Modern Assyrian) for more information.
